Today, Bristol-Myers Squibb, the pharmaceutical monolith that charges nearly $1,000 for a 30 day supply of one of its HIV/AIDS medications, is donating $1 to the National AIDS Fund for each person who simply visits their website and "virtually lights a candle." The tally is up over 890,000 right now. Please, please take a minute to "light a candle": www.lighttounite.org

I am indeed going home for the weekend. Unexpectedly. Just from today to Sunday, but then I'll be back again on Tuesday or Wednesday for Christmas break, so if you don't get a chance to see me this weekend, don't worry. I'll be in town for about three weeks after the 13th. Hurrah!

Just incase you missed this edit on Monday: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0446687/I'm fine. My class is nearly over and this brings joy. I liked my class for the most part, but I am admitting to being glad to see the end. I'm thinking next quarter will be better. Drawing from the Sea just seems like a better usage of my time. It seems more advanced and informative. It seems more like things I am interested in. Life drawing plus marine biology (which I regreted not taking at SOTA). Ah-hoy! My friend from MySpace might be taking it as well. That could make it interesting. I'm not sure if that's in the positive or negative sense. ... I wish I could sing really well and go walking through the Red Square singing my heart out and no one would complain or look at me funny. They'd smile and applaud! That is my wish right now. Anansi Boys by Neil Gaiman is one of my favorite books. I'm not quite done, but I highly reccommend it. Over and Out ~Nate

Reply to this post, and I'll tell you one reason why I like/love/adore you. Then put this in your own journal, and spread the love. [captain's log supplemental: I love you all because you all make me happy. I love you because when I'm around any or all of you I'm floating. I love you. Stay beautiful.]

If you read this, if your eyes are passing over this right now (even if we don't speak often), please post a comment with a COMPLETELY MADE UP AND FICTIONAL memory of you and me. It can be anything you want - good or bad - BUT IT HAS TO BE FAKE. When you're finished, post this little paragraph on your blog and be surprised (or mortified) about what people DON'T ACTUALLY remember about you. [ for Meghan:(you'll know why this is here) This weekend isn't for sure for sure, but as soon as I know, I'll let you know. I might actually be going to Canada with Jaden this weekend (we're going to some strip clubs because we have a horrible addiction. As of just this last weekend...) (sad.). But if I end up driving, I'll have to go down there to pick him up, so I could stop in, but not for too long. I mean, we need to get to those strip clubs at some point. ]
how jedi are you? :: by lawrie malenMwa ha ha ha ha! Also, I found this guy named Lawrie from the UK on MySpace and his favorite things include the following: "the insides of things, drumming, guitaring, singinging, words, grammar, clothes" If you know me you will understand why I giggled out loud and found it adorable... If you figure it out : No. I am not lame. I'm just very easily amused. ALSO, http://www.geocities.com/smurfysailor/clefairy.htmlWhat the fuck? What the fuck!
IT'S SNOWING! Hurrah! Not sticking yet, per se, but snowing. That's all that matters. Because if it continues long enough it will stick!
0% You have no inner-blonde! Despite your hair colour, you don't seem at all ditzy, infact, you're probably reeally clever. How... Unexpected. >) Anyway, I finished my PowerPoint thingie. I get to present it tomorrow at 9.50am. Hurrah. I hate it. Class is okay. I just don't like PowerPoint or presenting or people... not ALL people, but some. I met KC from MySpace. We're not instant best-friends, but it could have gone much worse. He slightly reminds me of Roland... Weird. Going to go now, to do my PowerPoint notes. Bah! ~Nate
